1 basic principles optional spacer
Use or to order gasket should be aware of the following data:
① mating flange sealing surface type and size;
② flanges and gaskets nominal diameter;
③ nominal flanges and gaskets;
④ fluid medium temperature;
⑤ the nature of the fluid medium.
Gasket selection should also consider some of the following factors:
① a good compression resilience, able to adapt to fluctuations in temperature and pressure;
② good ductility, with the flange sealing surface good fit;
③ Do not contaminate process media;
④ have sufficient strength, not because of the working medium pressure and clamping force and cause damage;
⑤ easy to harden at low temperatures, the amount of shrinkage is small, easy to soften at high temperatures, good creep resistance;
⑥ processing performance, easy installation;
⑦ not bonded flange sealing surface, easy to remove.
(2) the selection of standard gasket
Sizes have been standardized domestic gasket can be used with reference to Table 3-19, listed in the table for the common circular gasket gaskets, excluding profiled gaskets and non-standardized gasket.
